Long before Clarksons Canada began, Diane and Laura were the kind of sisters who could walk into the same shop and leave with completely different outfits.
Diane has always loved timeless silhouettes, understated colours and pieces that can be worn season after season. Laura is naturally drawn to softer shapes, expressive details and a little more colour.
Their styles may be different, but their frustration was the same.
Too often, fashion seemed to offer women only two choices: clothing designed with someone much younger in mind, or styles so plain that they made getting older feel like a reason to stop enjoying fashion.
Diane and Laura believed there should be another option.
Clarksons Canada grew from their shared desire to create a more thoughtful shopping experience — one centred around confidence, comfort and clothing that fits naturally into real life.

Each season, Diane and Laura look at the collection with fresh eyes. Diane considers whether a piece will remain versatile and easy to wear. Laura looks for the colour, softness and character that make an outfit feel special.
Before selecting anything, they return to one important question:
Would we feel good recommending this to a woman we care about?
If the answer is not an immediate yes, it does not become part of the Clarksons edit.
We don’t believe great style is about dressing younger, hiding who you are or chasing every new trend. It is about finding clothing that helps you feel confident, comfortable and completely yourself.
